Describe: Two sets of stairs, one atop the other, a set of rails in the lower right corner, a tree in the top right, and various other things such as a garbage can and papers scattered about. Interpret: This is the Architecture building from a higher perspective, focusing on the staircases that parallel one another. Theorize: This could easily symbolize the idea of path taking and the effect of making a choice branching off into two parallel worlds existing side by side, or on top of one another. Judgement: It's a pretty farfetched theory, but I still like that this piece enables that kind of thought process, and the perspective from which this picture was taken.
Describe: Brick, a rail and concrete. Interpret: This looks like a stairwell, looking down onto a lower level of stairs and a walkway or roof. Theorize: With all the intersections of lines and stairs it makes a great composition and lots of conflict/contrast. The wall continues off the page while abruptly ends on the landing below. Judgement: Life is a lot of interchanging dimensions and lines intersecting over and over.
