  1. Describe: Sidewalk, fence, trees, shadows, gate, buildings.
Interpret: A sidewalk that leads to residences in the late afternoon. It is not an exclusive area more urban and college style residence.
Theorize: This was probably built by a developer that didn't care for ascetics and did it just for money. The proof is the type of fencing gate which is a statement of what's behind it.
Judgement: I think he took this photo because of the interesting lines and shadows that cross the sidewalk. I also enjoy the way the sidewalk leads to different unknowns.

  2. Describe: a scooter or motorcycle, sharp foreground, very blurry background, mirror and reflection
Interpret: The reflection in the mirror is the focus of the image, not the scooter itself. The whitest part is in the mirror on the left, which draws the viewers eye to it. Even though the sharpest part of the image is the mirror in the center, the mirror on the left stands out more. The contrast of the mechanical scooters and the natural trees puts an emphasis on nature vs technology.
Theorize: Playing with angles, the photo is meant to show what is behind photographer, and make that his focus, rather than what is right in front of him.
Judgement: I really like the high contrast of the photo, and the obvious focus. It may have been slightly over exposed in the reflection, but I still really enjoy the image.

  3. Describe: A fenced area with an open gate. A sidewalk leading down a path with houses and trees on either side. Shadows fall to the right along different areas of the image.
Interpret: A sidewalk leading down an apartment complex or home area of some sort. Possibly a fenced in community. There's also a parallel aspect to the image itself.
Theorize: This is going to sound really cheesy, but it makes me think of a pathway of life. An open gate symbolizing an "open door" of opportunities, and different homes that could possibly be yours, depending on the path you choose.
Judgement: I like it, especially appreciate the parallels and the way the pathway eventually ends without ending.
