Image 1 Description: A vine with leaves sits superimposed on a brick wall. The bricks are multicolored. A smaller vine sprouts on the left side of the centered larger one. Each sprout of the centered vine has five leaves. The smaller vine only has four leaves per sprout. There is a darker shadow on the left, especially in the upper corner. The image is not completely squared with the photographer shooting from an angle slightly to the right.
Interpretation: The vine looks older, maybe a couple weeks. It has to be to have grown so tall. The plant looks healthy because it is a rich dark shade and not wilted. The plant looks live instead of a silk impersonation. The image appears to be taken outside because most vines do not grow indoors. I'm assuming there is an overhang to the left because of the shadow.
Theorize: This is a vine on an older building, assuming from the weathered brick. The building hasn't had any landscaping or grooming judging by the age of the plant. The plant reaches higher than the camera frame allows.
Judge: I find the symmetry appealing and comforting. The slightly skewed perspective doesn't bother me, and I get the fact that it's supposed to be head-on. I like the variation in the bricks from light to dark and solid to striped. I like how the baby vine sorta kinda breaks the symmetry to keep the image interesting. I like the way the image is cropped to emphasize the length of the plant.
