Travis R - Top 10 images, week of 11/12

  1. Describe: Circular objects attached to linear objects. There is an arch and brick.
    Interpret: It looks as if it is an overhead object to a gate or walkway.
    Theorize: There is nice rhythm and movement from the circles and rods to create a nice pattern.
    Judgement: This is an interesting composition that takes you from the bottom left side of the page to the right side via the top.

  2. Description:clusters of leaves. Negative space on the botton of the photograph. It takes up have of the image.
    Interpretation: leaves of a tree extend outward. The sky taking up have of the image.
    Theorize:this picture was take from below the tree. The focus is the leaves.
    Judgement: i like the simplicity of the piece. I also enjoy how the leaves seem to extend across the sky.

    description: a sign with the words "Sweetwater Branch" is visible on a concrete and brick structure. A blurred object is visble in the lower right and the background is blurred out..

    interpretation: The sign has fallen over for unknown reasons. It is probably on a bridge, so the background is probably water.

    theorizing: It is often unusual for people to see a fallen sign, since it normally carries geographic or authoritative importance. This could be humorous, as well as pitiful to see a sign that is meant to be seen fallen and unable to be read.

    judgement: I enjoy the placement of the sign, although the lower right post is distracting. The image overall is intriguing though
